In times of troubles we have a tendency of speaking negative things instead of being focus on God and speaking God's words. We have to say the truth and the promises of God in faith, there is power in the words. We are responsible for the things that come out from our lips. Pastor teaches us that is always a choice. In order to lead a blessed, peaceful and successful life, we need to do two things: guard your heart (get an attitude adjustment) and put a guard on your lips (watch your mouth). When we are going through hard times, we are inclined to speak negative about the situation we are in at that time. But we cannot speak negative and also have faith in the same time. The words are powerful all the time, when they are positive or when they are negative. All of us are more strongly influenced by words than any other force. They can pump up if there are words of encouragement or push us down in the dust if they are bad and negative words.
