This is the 5th week of the meetings… The Great Awakening!!! We are in the middle of the greatest move of God! And yet it is only but the start of what God is doing… Winter Camp meeting just finished Sunday night and it changed my life!!! From the inside out… The touch of God is so awesome and Jesus touches you for a reason, a purpose!

Something happens when you get touched with the fire, like pastor says, you don’t “think” you got touched by God… YOU KNOW WHEN GOD TOUCHES YOU… just like you would KNOW when a elephant tramps on you… You don’t “think” YOU KNOW… And God touched me these last couple of weeks… Since the great awakening started, I can’t walk around seeing people the same! We were at the manatee viewing center the other day, and I was getting little Ellie’s bag in the truck and I was walking seeing people and was trying to contain myself… I could see them as lost in need of a Savior an I have the answer… We have the answer… And at the end I couldn’t contain it any longer… We were in a room, me and Caleb and I told him I have to tell them… There were about 20 to 25 people in the room and I just stopped everybody in there and yelled out: “can I get everybody’s attention” and the whole place stopped and I went through the gospel soul winning script!!! I am not sure how many prayed with me… It was just so awesome!!!

Saturday we went out soul-winning and I prayed for this elderly man that had back surgery and he couldn’t bend over without falling… I prayed with him and he received Jesus into his heart and I asked him if he believes that Jesus can heal him… He said yes, so I laid my hands upon him like Jesus told us to do… This man was in pain and when I laid my hands on him the pain left! he bent over without falling TOTALLY HEALED!!! he was overwhelmed and praised the Lord! Then I asked him if he had received the Holy Ghost and evidence of speaking in other tongues and he said no… So I prayed with him and he received the Holy Ghost an started speaking in other tongues like a river flowing out of his mouth!!! He went on walking healed saved and filled with the Holy Ghost! Saying: “I’m coming to this church” it was just awesome and an honor to see Gods power manifested right there!!!

Yesterday I was taking a bike ride and I spoke to 2 people that was walking down the road and both of them prayed with me an received Jesus in their hearts!!!

What am I saying?? I’m saying if God touches you, YOU CAN NOT BE THE SAME AGAIN!!! you know when he has touched you… YOUR MOUTH WILL SPEAK!!!! IT’S MORE THAN ANOTHER SERVICE IT’S OUT THERE!!! How will they know UNLESS WE TELL THEM?! WE HAVE TO WE HAVE TO WE HAVE TO!!!! We need to get off of our blessed assurance and DO SOMETHING!!! It’s time to gather the harvest!!! -Eugene S.

This Great Awakening has been a phenomenal time for my development as a minister of the Gospel. I have been placed in positions where I am utilizing my gifts and talents for the furtherance of the Kingdom of God. One of the greatest things that sticks out to me is that this reminds me of the Book of Acts when it referred to disciples worshipping daily in the temple. In the midst of their daily worship, while they were out in their normal day of living, signs and wonders would occur. I think about the lame man at the gate called Beautiful, how he was supernaturally restored and the same thing is taking place here in Tampa, Fl. We are worshipping daily in the Temple of God and going out on the streets and seeing signs and wonders take place. Just yesterday, I was on an outreach in the city in the downtown area, where I met a homeless man, or at least he appeared to be homeless. I shared the Gospel with him along with 6 others; they all said the prayer of salvation. After the prayer the gentleman named “Harold” asked me to prayer for him, because he had been in pain for many years and wanted to be set free. I laid my hand up him and commanded him to be healed in the name of Jesus. I left to witness to someone else and you would have thought that no healing took place. But soon thereafter, “Harold” came running after me in excitement and joy declaring that he was healed by the power of God. He stated that “miracles are real”!-John H.

God I don’t know why this happened and what your plan is for my life but I know that your word is true.  Help me to trust you more.  Help me to not be afraid.  Lord, I know that you who began a good work in me is faithful to complete it.  I know you didn’t cause the destruction of my marriage and that you can make good out of bad”.  At first I struggled through work every day but God blessed me there also by giving me a spirit filled on fire for God boss.  He prayed over me, counseled me, encouraged me and loved me with the love of God.  I would go to work and see God’s love shining at me through his eyes.

I began to read the New Testament page by page and chapter by chapter and God continued to amaze me.  I would read or study something and the pastor would preach the same thing I was reading that next Sunday.  It went on like that for weeks and through that I began to believe that God really did care about me and that there was nothing I could do to make him stop loving me.  God loves us so much.  I can remember Ms Lorna telling me several times while I was working at RMI that I needed to get out of my head and into my heart and I just didn’t get it.  Well, I finally got it.

When you have lost everything that you thought was real in your life and you don’t know which way to turn, God will be there and all you have to do is reach out to him and he will strengthen you and lift you up and fill you with his love. About a month after I left my husband, I was feeling alone, helpless and hopeless.  I went home to my room of boxes, put on my CD player full of praise and worship music and laid on my bed.  I listened to the promises being sung and through tears of praise I let Jesus truly touch my heart.  An hour after I laid down I got up a different person and from then on I really heard God speak to me through his word, through other Christians, through his praise and worship.  God is truly my comforter, my provider, my healer, my way maker, my peace and my joy.

In Proverbs, the word “raphah” also means to mend and repair. We can see from the meanings of the Hebrew words that these passages are not referring to spiritual healing, but to physical healing. 

So many people go through life accepting second best or, in some cases, “hell on earth,”  because they have no idea that there is an answer, a remedy and a cure for their affliction. It does no good to say, “If it is God’s will He will heal me/deliver me.” Because then you could also say, “ If it is God’s will, He can save me.” No! No! No! If you are a Christian, then you should know, by now, that it is God’s will to save you – He sent Jesus long before you were born. In fact, the Bible says that He had planned to send Jesus from the foundation of the world (I Peter 1:20 and Rev. 13:8). Your salvation was planned for you from the foundation of the world and so was your healing and your deliverance. 

It is God’s will to save us and it is God’s will to heal us. How do we know this? We know it because He has told us. How did He tell us? He tells us through His word. Hebrews 4:3 “For we who have  believed (adhered to and trusted in and relied on God) do enter that rest, in accordance with His declaration that those [who did not believe] should not enter when He said, As I swore in My wrath, They shall not enter My rest; and this He said although [His] works had been completed and prepared [and waiting for all who would believe] from the foundation of the world. 

God has provided everything we need. All He is waiting for is someone who will believe and in doing so, receive. You see, God’s word is life, health, and healing to us when it be comes  real to us – when we believe it! Psalm 103:5“Who satisfies your mouth [your necessity and desire at your personal age and situation] with good so that your youth, renewed, is like the eagle’s [strong, over coming, soaring]!”come down from the heavens, and return not there again, but water the earth and make it bring forth and sprout, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall My word be that goes forth out of my mouth: it shall not return to Me void [without producing any effect, useless], but it shall accomplish that which I please and purpose, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.” God’s will is His Word! Stay in God’s Word.  Make it part of your life every hour, every day. We must change to agree with God’s word – not change God’s word to suit our opinions and carnal thinking. 

Forgiveness, healing, redemption and provision are all part of the same package as far as God is concerned. Isaiah 55:10-11“ For as the rain and snow

The Holy Spirit is your teacher. Allow Him to make God’s word and will clear to you. Allow the word to change you and soon you will begin to see your circumstances change all around you. God will be bringing you into His life and His health.  His word will work in you and heal you.
