Anchorage Ak..ACC

My life was radically touched in 1992…filled with the Holy Spirit…man was I dry!!! Right away I hooked up with the Evangelist of the church Joe Mulcahy whom I’m sure Rodney remembers. We proceeded to do revivals all over the state of Alaska & into Canada. Within six months of getting filled with the Spirit…I was speaking in Rescue Missions…then Prisons..then I led classes in street evangelism…during which time we saw many supernatural events & hundreds of salvations…for the first time in 1992 the Call on my life began to make sense. In 1999 I joined Rodney in NY. I had invited a friend of my named Tim Adams to come with me who also was an Evangelist. Even though he had some judgments against Rodney from listening to Hank H. he felt like the Lord had told him to come. Well, after the 2nd night of listening to Rodney, He repented seeing Hank was wrong. We won many souls to Christ during those three weeks & got more on fire than I”d ever had before I preached on Wall Street boldly from the statue that George W. was first inaugurated as president anointed by the Spirit to warn New Yorkers of Christ return & on Rom 1:16. I also preached on a subway train one night full of New Yorkers as it stopped because of congestion…I had a captive audience!! I led a whole school yard of about 30 children to Christ…with the teachers permission of course!! Plus many one on one encounters with the Holy Spirit giving me prophetic words, words of Knowledge…etc for the people I was witnessing to. I really desire to walk in that kind of anointing daily…though I’ve been doing prisons, rescue missions, been ministering in many foreign fields, leading Sat. Soul Winning classes…etc since 1992. I’ve since moved to Florida so I’m looking forward to being a part of Rodney’s events in Cocoa Beach & Sanford. I’m so thankful to Jesus For leading to ACC in Anchorage when I was a very confused Christian mixed up in a violent marriage…true story; soon after Rodney’s meeting my wife at the time pulled a long kitchen knife on me threatening to stab me. Suddenly The Holy Spirit fell on me & I began to laugh uncontrollably. It was the Joy of the Spirit verses the hatred of the devil…” I’m going to stab you” she screamed…”stop laughing”!!…I laughed even harder..bout fell out on the floor!!!!! She finally put the knife down & smiled…the joy was too much for her. Many, many other beautiful things Jesus has done in me & through me since then…but this is enough for now. Blessings! Mike

God Will Reward You by Rodney Howard Browne

Communicating with God is always an advantage and a blessing. The follower who spends time alone with his Father can expect hefty rewards. King David’s psalms regularly talk of the stillness of soul and the renewed energy that he reaped from the Lord. Rodney Howard Browne explains that our spirits are quieted in prayer so that disappointment and worry are eased away.

As our spirit is replenished, we will feel the strain seeping out of our muscles. Not even a poet like David can explain how it occurs, but the results of our worship is divine energy steaming thru these human bodies. Our feelings are refreshed too. When I am going home after a Sun. Morning sermon, I am so beat.

The ideal cure is to take a seat with the open Word and ask the Lord for a fresh sense of His presence and love. He answers those requests each time. Those answers, as well as little elbows from the Holy Spirit, serve to brace our religion. Regardless of the great rewards of passing time in God’s presence, many Christians duck it. We resist being alone with Him when we try to ignore sin in our life. But he is out to purify our hearts so we can be conformed to the picture of His Son. Rodney Howard Browne points out that if we are terrified of His correction and withstand the transformation process, our relationship will become weak.

On the other hand, a want to cope with anything that disturbs our connection to the Father earns us a closer, personal walk and the blessings that go with being his dear kid. Pastor Rodney Howard Brown teaches that time expended in His presence is always rewarded.

Exodus 24

1And he said unto Moses, Come up unto the LORD, thou, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel; and worship ye afar off.

2And Moses alone shall come near the LORD: but they shall not come nigh; neither shall the people go up with him.

3And Moses came and told the people all the words of the LORD, and all the judgments: and all the people answered with one voice, and said, All the words which the LORD hath said will we do.

4And Moses wrote all the words of the LORD, and rose up early in the morning, and builded an altar under the hill, and twelve pillars, according to the twelve tribes of Israel.

5And he sent young men of the children of Israel, which offered burnt offerings, and sacrificed peace offerings of oxen unto the LORD.

6And Moses took half of the blood, and put it in basons; and half of the blood he sprinkled on the altar.

7And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that the LORD hath said will we do, and be obedient.

8And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which the LORD hath made with you concerning all these words.

9Then went up Moses, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel:

10And they saw the God of Israel: and there was under his feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire stone, and as it were the body of heaven in his clearness.

11And upon the nobles of the children of Israel he laid not his hand: also they saw God, and did eat and drink.

12And the LORD said unto Moses, Come up to me into the mount, and be there: and I will give thee tables of stone, and a law, and commandments which I have written; that thou mayest teach them.

13And Moses rose up, and his minister Joshua: and Moses went up into the mount of God.

14And he said unto the elders, Tarry ye here for us, until we come again unto you: and, behold, Aaron and Hur are with you: if any man have any matters to do, let him come unto them.

15And Moses went up into the mount, and a cloud covered the mount.

16And the glory of the LORD abode upon mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days: and the seventh day he called unto Moses out of the midst of the cloud.

17And the sight of the glory of the LORD was like devouring fire on the top of the mount in the eyes of the children of Israel.

18And Moses went into the midst of the cloud, and gat him up into the mount: and Moses was in the mount forty days and forty nights.

The Eighth Plague: Locusts

1Then the LORD said to Moses, “Go in to Pharaoh, for I have hardened his heart and the heart of his servants, that I may show these signs of mine among them, 2and(A) that you may tell in the hearing of your son and of your grandson how I have dealt harshly with the Egyptians and what signs I have done among them,(B) that you may know that I am the LORD.”

3So Moses and Aaron went in to Pharaoh and said to him, “Thus says the LORD, the God of the Hebrews, ‘How long will you refuse to(C) humble yourself before me? Let my people go, that they may serve me. 4For if you refuse to let my people go, behold, tomorrow I will bring(D) locusts into your country, 5and they shall cover the face of the land, so that no one can see the land. And they shall(E) eat what is left to you after the hail, and they shall eat every tree of yours that grows in the field, 6and they shall fill(F) your houses and the houses of all your servants and of all the Egyptians, as neither your fathers nor your grandfathers have seen, from the day they came on earth to this day.'” Then he turned and went out from Pharaoh.

7Then Pharaoh’s servants said to him, “How long shall this man be a snare to us? Let the men go, that they may serve the LORD their God. Do you not yet understand that Egypt is ruined?” 8So Moses and Aaron were brought back to Pharaoh. And he said to them,(G) “Go, serve the LORD your God. But which ones are to go?” 9Moses said, “We will go with our young and our old. We will go with our sons and daughters and with our flocks and herds, for(H) we must hold a feast to the LORD.” 10But he said to them, “The LORD be with you, if ever I let you and your(I) little ones go! Look, you have some evil purpose in mind.[a] 11No! Go, the men among you, and serve the LORD, for that is what you are asking.” And they were driven out from Pharaoh’s presence.

12Then the LORD said to Moses,(J) “Stretch out your hand over the land of Egypt for the locusts, so that they may come upon the land of Egypt and(K) eat every plant in the land, all that the hail has left.” 13So Moses stretched out his staff over the land of Egypt, and the LORD brought an east wind upon the land all that day and all that night. When it was morning, the east wind had brought the locusts. 14(L) The locusts came up over all the land of Egypt and settled on the whole country of Egypt,(M) such a dense swarm of locusts as had never been before, nor ever will be again. 15They covered the face of the whole land, so that the land was darkened, and(N) they ate all the plants in the land and all the fruit of the trees that the hail had left. Not a green thing remained, neither tree nor plant of the field, through all the land of Egypt. 16Then Pharaoh hastily called Moses and Aaron and said,(O) “I have sinned against the LORD your God, and against you. 17Now therefore, forgive my sin, please, only this once, and(P) plead with the LORD your God only to remove this death from me.” 18So(Q) he went out from Pharaoh and pleaded with the LORD. 19And the LORD turned the wind into a very strong west wind, which lifted the locusts and drove them(R) into the Red Sea. Not a single locust was left in all the country of Egypt. 20But the LORD(S) hardened Pharaoh’s heart, and he did not let the people of Israel go.

The Ninth Plague: Darkness

21Then the LORD said to Moses,(T) “Stretch out your hand toward heaven, that there may be(U) darkness over the land of Egypt, a darkness to be felt.” 22So Moses stretched out his hand toward heaven, and there was pitch darkness in all the land of Egypt three days. 23They did not see one another, nor did anyone rise from his place for three days, but(V) all the people of Israel had light where they lived. 24Then Pharaoh called Moses and said,(W) “Go, serve the LORD;(X) your little ones also may go with you; only let your flocks and your herds remain behind.” 25But Moses said, “You must also let us have sacrifices and burnt offerings, that we may sacrifice to the LORD our God. 26Our livestock also must go with us; not a hoof shall be left behind, for we must take of them to serve the LORD our God, and we do not know with what we must serve the LORD until we arrive there.” 27But the LORD(Y) hardened Pharaoh’s heart, and he would not let them go. 28Then Pharaoh said to him, “Get away from me; take care never to see my face again, for on the day you see my face you shall die.” 29Moses said, “As you say!(Z) I will not see your face again.”
